Job Overview

Alef Zero Chile SpA is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist (Especialista en Ciberseguridad Cloud) to protect, monitor, and harden our cloud infrastructure and digital assets. In this role, you will be responsible for designing secure cloud architectures, implementing threat detection frameworks, conducting vulnerability assessments, and enforcing compliance across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud security architectures and governance models across public, private, and hybrid environments.
- Monitor cloud systems for security incidents, analyze threat intelligence, and lead incident response and remediation efforts.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security posture audits for cloud workloads and applications.
- Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, data encryption (at rest and in transit), and zero-trust security frameworks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to embed DevSecOps practices and automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure organizational compliance with international cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) and local data protection regulations.





Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, System Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in cloud security engineering, cybersecurity operations, or cloud architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and native cloud security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, GCP Security Command Center).
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, IAM, container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Industry certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Professional fluency in Spanish; intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
