A successful Field Application Engineer will have exceptional knowledge of material handling technologies and understand how to apply them in order to improve our customer's processes and operations.Job FunctionsIntermediate knowledge and expertise on Toyota Automated Logistics scope of supply and capabilities,advanced knowledge in select areas.Develops and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in assigned geographic market.Develops a thorough understanding of product information, customers, business operations, andopportunities through onboarding, training, and development opportunities.Creates and manage strategy regarding target accounts, sales pipeline,



and routine customer visits.Understands and execute TAL's approach regarding marketing and brand awareness withprospective and existing customers.Develops in-depth knowledge of supplier offerings by attending training opportunities as well asconducting own research as necessary.Assists with Project Management and/or Site Management solutions that are sold to customers.Able to lead opportunity development process with new and existing customers for most projects.Creates concepts, drawings, cost schedules, and detailed proposals.Understand financials, budgets, and cash flow.Travel Requirements30% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)Required Qualifications And Preferred SkillsBachelors Degree in Engineering preferred (preferably Mechanical)5+ years of experience in technical salesPortray a basic level of knowledge regarding Toyota Automated Logistics scope of supply, material handling technologies, and capabilities and apply them to customers needs.Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plusAutoCAD experience a plusResults focused individual that can close sales and secure business for the organizationSelf-starter who can create and manage strategyProficiency in English (verbal and writing)Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.About Toyota Automated LogisticsToyota Automated Logistics is your integral partner for integrated warehouse automation.
