Project Manager for Critical Infrastructure (Data Center) Project
Location: Santiago Metropolitan Area, Chile (On-site)
Your mission
As Project Manager, you will act as the Owner’s Representative, leading the project execution and ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Project Manager and Single Point of Contact with Owners and contractors.
- Lead the project team (construction managers, inspectors, procurement team, project control, QA/QC, HSE, HR, engineering, commissioning).
- Assist the Owner on contractual matters, schedules, and milestones.
- Communicate and anticipate potential risks in the project plan.
- Support procurement strategies, including scope of work definition and division of responsibilities between contractors.
- Manage and resolve issues during the project, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Promote and lead project and construction follow-up meetings with contractors and Owner.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and promote a positive working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction,
or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction-related project management.
- Experience in critical infrastructure or Data Center projects.
- Experience in industrial projects (GIS & AIS substations, data centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and sequence of work.
- Ability to manage field construction activities and labor.
- Ability to manage multiple budgets and schedules.
- Project Management certification (preferred but not required).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Availability to work on-site in the Santiago Metropolitan Area.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and international projects (interview will be conducted in English).
