Job Overview

Shashi Veda Technologies is seeking a talented and data-driven Machine Learning Engineer (Ingeniero de Machine Learning) to design, build, and deploy predictive models and artificial intelligence algorithms. In this role, you will bridge data science and software engineering by transforming raw data into scalable AI solutions, refining ML pipelines, and integrating intelligent models into our production systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, train, and evaluate machine learning, deep learning, and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
- Develop automated Data & MLOps pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.
- Optimize machine learning algorithms and deep learning architectures for scalability, latency, and resource efficiency in production.
- Monitor deployed models for data drift, performance decay, and bias, implementing continuous retraining and maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to integrate ML capabilities into core applications and APIs.
- Stay current with state-of-the-art AI research, frameworks, and tools to drive continuous innovation within the engineering team.





Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and strong experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost).
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms, linear algebra, and statistical analysis.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required.
