Company Description
China Construction Bank, Agencia en Chile is the first branch of China Construction Bank in South America, located in Santiago, Chile. Since May 2015, it has operated as the first RMB Clearing Bank in South America. The branch focuses on facilitating trade and investment between China, Chile, and other South American countries by offering a wide range of corporate banking products, including bilateral loans, syndicated loans, project finance, trade finance, deposits, foreign exchange, and cross-border payments. It also promotes the use of RMB in regional trade flows through FX, payments, and RMB trade financing, leveraging CCB’s integral financial service network.

Role Description
The Trader is a full-time, on-site role based in Santiago, Chile. This position is responsible for executing and monitoring trades in foreign exchange, money markets, and related financial instruments in line with the bank’s risk and compliance frameworks. The Trader will analyze market trends, provide pricing and liquidity for corporate clients.



The role includes managing daily trading positions, preparing market reports, collaborating with relationship managers and risk teams, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Trader will contribute to the development of new trading strategies and products that support the bank’s growth and enhance client service.

Qualifications
- knowledge of financial markets, including FX, money markets, and fixed income, with the ability to analyze market data and macroeconomic trends.
- 3 years of experience in trading or treasury operations within a bank or financial institution in Chile, preferably with exposure to cross-border transactions or RMB-related products.
- Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to trading activities.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and trading systems; strong skills in Excel and other analytical software.
