Offtake Management Associate – Santiago, Chile

Do you want to join a general leader in renewable energy infrastructure? CIP Terra Technologies is looking for an Offtake Management Associate to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The role supports the origination, structuring, and execution of power purchase agreements across CI GMF’s investment portfolio in Chile, including large‑scale standalone BESS and solar‑BESS hybrid assets.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the structuring and negotiation of PPAs and other offtake agreements, including preparation of commercial terms and supporting materials.
- Monitor power market trends, pricing, and regulatory developments to inform commercial strategy and timing of transactions.
- Provide commercial inputs to financial models, investment materials, and project evaluations, supporting financing and internal approvals.
- Support interactions with offtakers, advisors, and internal teams to advance negotiations and contract execution.
- Contribute to RFPs, auctions, and bilateral processes by preparing pricing analysis and draft commercial proposals.
- Participate in the implementation of an international carbon offset transfer programme.




- Work closely with development, investment, and legal teams to secure value‑accretive revenue streams for projects.

Qualifications

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in energy, infrastructure, financial, or commercial roles (IPP, utility, developer, consulting firm, trader, or investment fund).
- Solid analytical and techno‑commercial modeling skills, with the ability to manage transactions at both strategic and operational levels.
- Understanding of the Chilean power market, PPAs, and energy pricing mechanisms.
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with investment funds and project finance is a plus.
