Overview

DevOps Engineer - Azure with expertise in delivering and deploying end-to-end solutions. You will be involved in business process consulting, define problems, propose and create solutions, and contribute to development, configuration, and deployment. You will guide teams on project processes and deliverables, contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, and help detail project scope.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to different phases of the consulting lifecycle and shape value-adding solutions for clients.
- Define problems, propose solutions, and assist in development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution.
- Guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and ensure alignment with project scope.
- Contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building.

Qualifications

Basic

- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
- At least 8 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Excellent Analytical and Communication skills
- Experience with project/team management

Preferred

- At least 4 years of experience in Architecture/Design /build of Cloud based infrastructure and applications using Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
- At least 4 years of experience Azure DevOps platform design and implementation
- At least 4 years of experience in Containers AKS
- At least 3 years of experience in Azure Powershell / ARM Template/Azure CLI
- At least 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps pipeline, terraform enterprise, Docker, Github, and other DevOps tools
- At least 1- year of experience in Software Developemet
- Proven experience using tools like Azure DevOps/VSTS, validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies in stage and production environments
- Maintaining large infrastructure on premise and/or in the cloud




- Working with automated configuration and deployment
- Working with Docker and related containerization and orchestration technologies
- Working with both cloud deployment and on premise release workflows
- Working with cloud providers and large hardware installations
- Working knowledge of web servers, databases, systems and configuration management; networking, load balancing, clustering and security concepts
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration and security concepts
- Working knowledge with several distributions of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows
- Working knowledge with version control software like GitHub, TFS
- Working experience with Jenkins/CI tools, virtualization and Docker, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- Demonstrating extensive knowledge of cloud providers and modern continuous development and integration tools; understanding of Linux and Windows OS and internals; familiar with DevOps methodologies and practices
