Service Engineer Executes service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Delivers quality customer service to satisfy customers. This position reports to: Sales Manager. Responsibilities Contributes to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectation(s). Ensures customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. Works with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. Performs field service tasks, identifies technical issues, and performs analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.



Plans and executes work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensures the job is done on time and as per quality standards. Identifies improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the ways of working. Troubleshoots equipment/process failures, requests proactive corrective actions, and makes recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. Supports the installed base (IB) for measurement & analytics clients, providing on-site or remote assistance. Participates in commissioning activities for gas measurement equipment.
