The Director – Americas, Mining Vertical is responsible for driving the execution of Siemens’ growth strategy across the Mining market throughout Chile. This role partners closely with sales, domain, and technical teams to develop go-to-market plans, accelerate pipeline growth, replicate successful solutions across countries, and strengthen customer engagement with key accounts and EPCs. As the Mining subject matter expert, the Director will also provide strategic industry guidance, foster collaboration across local business units, and help align Siemens’ portfolio with evolving market needs. You’ll make an impact by Translate Zone strategy into country-level GTM plans and pipeline actions
Define Sales Plays and align offerings (DCS, lifecycle, digitalization, etc.) to Mining-specific customer needs
Ensure a comprehensive market approach, integrating solutions and services
Identify and scale high-impact use cases and lighthouse opportunities
Facilitate best practice sharing, reuse of successful applications, and coordinated pursuit strategies
Connect domain, sales,



and technical experts.
Focus on early engagement with key accounts and EPCs
Drive replication of successful deals across countries
Support LCBs in complex pursuits and positioning of full portfolio
Provide deep Mining industry expertise to sales teams and leadership
Support portfolio feedback loop to integral (what works, what’s missing)
Ensure alignment between market needs and Siemens offerings You will make an impact with these qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
MBA preferred but not required.
Advance level of english
10+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience supporting mining customers.
Demonstrated success managing large industrial accounts and meeting sales targets.
