NHS Fife is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Staff Bank Manager – to lead the strategic and operational management of our Staff Bank service.

This is a highly influential role at the heart of workforce delivery, ensuring that supplementary staffing services support safe, effective and person-centred care across NHS Fife.
About The Role
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Partnering, with Professional Leadership being provided by the Director of Nursing – Corporate Services you will provide professional and operational leadership for approximately 3,000 bank workers and oversee a service that facilitates around 76,000 shifts annually across a wide range of clinical and support services.

You will manage a budget circa £400k annually.
You Will

Lead the transformation of NHS Fife's Staff Bank service.




Provide professional leadership and line management support to bank workers and Staff Bank colleagues.
Drive recruitment, retention, training and workforce development initiatives.
Drive strategic workforce planning through the utilisation of data and metrics to monitor supplementary staffing activity, budget performance and agency expenditure, identifying opportunities for efficiency and service improvement.
Utilise data to
Work closely with clinical leaders, service managers, executive teams and national partners to ensure workforce needs are met.
Lead investigations, conduct hearings and support staff governance processes where required.
Represent NHS Fife at local and national Staff Bank forums and contribute to strategic workforce planning initiatives.
