Our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever‑changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s M365, Azure, Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a talented D365 FO consultant who will use their expertise and experience for functional tasks based in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This dynamic and exciting opportunity will allow the consultant to join a growing new business area within a market‑leading firm.

Requirements

- Ideally educated to degree level
- Ideally Microsoft Dynamics certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Finance and Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
- At least 6 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or 5 end‑to‑end implementation projects
- Exposure to presales activities would be an added value
- Conducting functional interviews
- Some technical knowledge would be considered an asset.
- RSAT knowledge would be considered an asset.




- Prepared to travel on a frequent basis
- Experience/Knowledge about ERP implementation methodologies and strong analytical acumen
- Experience on operating in Shared Services or nearshore teams is an added asset
- Ability to perform under minimal supervision and in changing environments
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills. Additional fluency in one or more of the following languages is preferred: French, Spanish, German
- Experience with (D365FO) interfaces and integrations
- Good understanding of industry processes, principles, functionality & systems for their chosen specialism
- Beneficial to have experience of LCS and Azure DevOps
- Good MS Office skills (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) is a plus
- Experience in consulting and very good presentation skills

Responsibilities

- Show expertise in any or several of the following D365FO functional areas: Finance, Project Operations, Warehouse, Field Service.
- Deliver D365 FO end‑to‑end implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, post‑go‑live support & reporting.
- Work with onsite engagement team & client team to gather requirements, determine expectations & finalize deliverables.




- Ensure quality project delivery of deliverables produced and demonstrate experience in system and functional testing.
- Demonstrate excellent foundational consulting skills, including analytical know‑how, written & verbal communication & team participation.
- Involve with D365FO interfaces and integrations.
- Gather and document functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis.
- Demonstrate awareness of scope (creep) and use of change control.
- Lead the solution on a work stream, make design decisions and create solution documentation.
- Deliver end‑user training to clients and colleagues.
- Provide on‑site support and assistance throughout delivery and go‑live phases of the project.
- Occasional involvement in responding to RFPs and RFQs would be beneficial.
- Identify practice development activities and help in defining how these will be delivered.
- Carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Directors.
- Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
- Represent our clients MBS in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Have awareness of product roadmap and the content of future releases of D365FO.
- Demonstrate awareness around upselling and company capabilities.
- Follow our clients Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times.
