Threat Detection

Engineer at BairesDev As a Threat Detection Engineer, you will design and implement detection logic to identify malicious activity across diverse environments. You will transform threat intelligence into actionable alerts, ensuring comprehensive security coverage through a systematic, code-driven approach.

What You'll Do Develop and maintain high-fidelity detection rules and signatures using YARA and Sigma.

Map detection capabilities to the MITRE ATT&CK; framework to identify and close visibility gaps.

Design and implement detection logic across endpoint, network, and cloud telemetry sources.

Collaborate with Incident Response and Threat Intelligence teams to refine detection strategies.





Conduct continuous tuning and validation of alerts to minimize false positives and maximize efficacy.

Apply Detection-as-Code principles to manage the lifecycle of detection content systematically.

What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Threat Detection, or Detection Engineering.

Proven expertise in writing detection rules and signatures using YARA and Sigma.

Strong experience mapping security detections to the MITRE ATT&CK; framework.

Deep understanding of identifying threats across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
