Engineer (Bazel) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer specializing in Bazel, you will manage large-scale, reproducible builds within monorepo environments. You will play a critical role in enhancing developer productivity by optimizing build graphs and ensuring fast, reliable software delivery across the organization.
What You'll Do Design and implement efficient build systems using Bazel to support large-scale monorepo architectures.
Develop and maintain custom Starlark rules to extend build capabilities and automate complex workflows.
Optimize build graphs and caching strategies to significantly minimize build times and resource consumption.
Ensure build reproducibility and hermeticity across diverse development and CI/CD environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Bazel into their development lifecycles and troubleshoot complex build-related issues.
What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Build Engineering, or Developer Tooling.
Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Bazel build systems for large-scale projects.
Proficiency in writing and maintaining custom Starlark rules.
Strong understanding of monorepo environments and build graph optimization.
Hands-on experience ensuring reproducible builds and improving developer productivity.
