Senior Software

Engineer (Data Platform) at BairesDev As a Senior Software Engineer for our Data Platform, you will architect and maintain the robust, large-scale big data systems that power our data-driven initiatives. You will serve as the technical backbone for our distributed infrastructure, ensuring that high-volume data processing remains performant, reliable, and accessible across the enterprise.

What You'll Do Architect and operate enterprise-scale big data platforms leveraging the Hadoop ecosystem and Spark internals.

Design and optimize high-throughput data streaming and messaging architectures using Kafka and NiFi.

Manage and scale distributed storage solutions and NoSQL databases to ensure data durability and rapid access.

Streamline platform operations through advanced Linux systems administration and automated infrastructure management.





Enhance system observability and reliability to support complex analytical workloads at a petabyte scale.

Partner with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and ensure the scalability of the global data environment.

What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.

Proven expertise in building and operating big data platforms using the Apache Hadoop ecosystem.

Proficiency in Java or Scala for developing large-scale data processing applications with Spark.

Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like HBase and data orchestration tools like NiFi.

Strong background in Linux systems administration and managing distributed systems at scale.
