Engineer (Observability) at BairesDev As a Platform Engineer specializing in Observability, you will architect and maintain the infrastructure that provides deep visibility into complex, large-scale systems. You will serve as the technical link between raw telemetry data and actionable operational insights, ensuring that engineering teams can monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize their services effectively.
What You'll Do Architect and scale centralized observability platforms to handle high-volume metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
Design and implement robust telemetry pipelines to ensure reliable data ingestion and processing across diverse environments.
Develop standardized monitoring frameworks and dashboards that empower development teams with self-service visibility.
Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of observability tools while maintaining high data retention and availability standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reliability targets and establish proactive alerting strategies to minimize incident response times.
What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale observability infrastructure for metrics, logs, and traces.
Proficiency in core observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK or OpenSearch stack.
Hands-on experience implementing OpenTelemetry and managing log pipelines with Vector, Fluentd, or Logstash.
Strong background in cloud-native monitoring and alerting using platforms like Datadog or Honeycomb.
