Job Summary

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.

Major Responsibilities

- Monitoring and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility.
- Supporting on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement.
- Monitoring subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Reviewing subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Coordinating the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
- Monitoring installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
- Enforcing policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
- Supporting Construction Field Engineers,



Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
- Coordinating engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
- Coordinating with Design on constructability issues.

Education And Experience Requirements

Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge And Skills

- Understand the comprehensive operation of a concrete plant, including the processes of raw material reception and storage, batching, mixing, quality control, transportation, and dispatch of concrete.
- Be proficient in interpreting and applying the current Chilean regulations associated with concrete, with special emphasis on NCh 170:2016 "Concrete - General Requirements," considering requirements for strength, durability, production control, and sampling.
- Have technical knowledge of the main quality control tests for concrete.
- Technical knowledge in concrete production and control, raw material management, and concrete plant performance.
- Operational management and leadership skills.
- Oversee human resources, equipment, material supply, and dispatch logistics, ensuring production schedules are met.
