Role Description This full-time MEP Coordinator role at ZyCore I Project Management is a hybrid position based in Chile, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The MEP Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across project phases to ensure alignment with design, codes, and client requirements.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings and BIM models, identifying and resolving clashes, and coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves preparing coordination reports, tracking progress against project schedules, supporting site teams with installation queries, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The MEP Coordinator will also contribute to process improvements, documentation, and best practices for building services delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in MEP Coordination and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Knowledge of Plumbing and Building Services design,



installation, and compliance standards.
- Experience working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
- Background in construction, engineering, or project management, ideally in commercial or residential projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration software; familiarity with industry-standard BIM/MEP software is an advantage.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish; English skills are a plus for international coordination.

Experience of MS Project and Primavera P6.
