As a Mainframe Engineer, you will maintain and modernize critical COBOL applications on IBM mainframe systems.

You will serve as a vital link between legacy infrastructure and modern business requirements, ensuring the reliability and evolution of core processing environments in key sectors like banking and insurance.

What You'll Do Develop, test, and maintain high-quality COBOL code for mission-critical batch and online processing.

Manage and optimize mainframe data structures using VSAM and DB2 to ensure high performance and integrity.

Design and execute JCL streams to automate complex workload scheduling and resource allocation.

Modernize legacy systems by refactoring code and integrating mainframe services with contemporary platforms.





Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within CICS and other core mainframe subsystems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on mainframe systems.

Proven expertise in maintaining and modernizing COBOL applications on IBM mainframes.

Proficiency in core mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

Hands-on experience with both batch and online mainframe processing environments.

Deep understanding of mainframe application integration within banking, insurance, or government sectors.
