As a Linux Device Driver Engineer, you will create and maintain essential software components that interface hardware with the operating system.
You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between physical devices and the Linux kernel, enabling high-performance and reliable system operation.
What You'll Do Design, develop, and debug Linux device drivers for various hardware components using C.
Implement and optimize drivers for common bus protocols such as USB, PCI, I2C, and SPI.
Work closely with kernel driver frameworks to ensure compatibility and stability across different Linux versions.
Analyze hardware specifications to translate physical requirements into efficient software interfaces.
Collaborate with hardware teams to troubleshoot and resolve low-level system integration issues.
Conduct rigorous testing and performance tuning of drivers to meet strict operational standards.
What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Embedded Systems or Linux Kernel development.
Proven expertise in developing and debugging Linux device drivers.
Proficiency in C programming and low-level systems development.
Hands-on experience with bus protocols such as USB, PCI, I2C, and SPI.
Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals and driver frameworks.
