Linux Performance
Engineer at BairesDev As a Linux Performance Engineer, you will specialize in the low-level optimization of systems performance to ensure high-speed operations at scale. You will serve as the key link between hardware resources and software efficiency, fine-tuning the core components of the Linux environment to maximize throughput and minimize latency.
What You'll Do Conduct deep-dive performance analysis across kernel, CPU, memory, and I/O subsystems.
Utilize advanced profiling tools like eBPF and perf to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
Optimize kernel parameters and system configurations to support high-performance workloads.
Profile CPU execution and resource utilization to improve overall computational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide architectural guidance on systems tuning and scalability.
What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Performance Engineering.
Proven expertise in low-level Linux performance tuning across kernel, CPU, and I/O subsystems.
Proficiency in C/C++ and deep understanding of Linux kernel internals.
Hands-on experience with profiling tools such as eBPF, perf, and CPU profiling suites like Nsight or VTune.
Strong background in kernel parameter tuning and optimizing systems at scale.
