Role Overview

T. Miyawaki Software SpA is seeking a proactive Applied Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our software products, cloud infrastructure, and internal systems. In this role, you will embed security protocols directly into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps), conduct threat assessments, and defend enterprise systems against evolving cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Application & System Security: Perform secure code reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments across cloud applications and APIs.
- DevSecOps Integration: Embed automated security scanning, SAST/DAST tools, and compliance checks into existing CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Incident Response & Threat Hunting: Monitor security event logs (SIEM), investigate security breaches, and execute incident response protocols.
- Security Architecture: Design and enforce IAM policies, data encryption practices, zero-trust network configurations, and risk mitigation strategies.





Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in application security, penetration testing, or DevSecOps.
- Tools & Technologies: Proficiency with security frameworks and tools (OWASP, Burp Suite, SonarQube, Wireshark, Metasploit, SIEM tools).
- Cloud Security: Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or AWS Certified Security Specialist is a strong plus.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
