Do you want to join a general leader in renewable energy infrastructure? CIP Terra Technologies is looking for a Business Case Manager Associate to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The role supports the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects and infrastructure investments across Latin America, providing strategic insights and financial analysis during key transaction processes.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain financial models for greenfield developments, portfolio management, acquisitions and scenarios for operational improvements.
- Conduct commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory, and ESG due diligence on investment opportunities.
- Analyze project economics, valuation, financing structures, risks, and return profiles.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for internal investment committees and senior management.
- Support transaction execution, including coordination of advisors, lenders, developers, co‑investors, and counterparties.
- Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation, financing, refinancing, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities across renewable energy, battery storage, power infrastructure, and related sectors.
- Build deep knowledge of the markets, technologies, and sectors aligned with the Fund’s strategy.
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders and regularly share insights with the broader team.





Qualifications

- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure investment funds or corporate development at an energy company.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business, engineering or a related field.
- Comprehensive analytical skills with close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Solid corporate finance knowledge, particularly in terms of valuation and financial modelling.
- Effective communication skills and the confidence to exercise judgement appropriately, engaging with colleagues at all levels.
- A structured approach towards complex tasks and the ability to work well in demanding situations.
- Substantial experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self‑starter attitude with a willingness to collaborate across teams to deliver results.
- Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment.
- Advanced written and verbal English skills.
