Operating from our 19 offices, 3 400 Murexians from over 65 different nationalities ensure the development, implementation and support of our platform which is used by banks, asset managers, corporations and utilities across the world. Join Murex and work on the challenges of an industry at the forefront of innovation and thrive in a people‑centric environment. You’ll be part of one integral team where you can learn fast and stay true to yourself.
The team
The presales team comprises product and service experts who empower Murex to successfully sell its MX.3 offerings to financial institutions. Presales consultants collaborate closely with business developers and client managers to craft compelling value propositions that secure deals, deliver precise responses to requirements from prospects or existing clients, and showcase Murex’s MX.3’s impressive capabilities. They also present the available service offers with impact. The presales team is dedicated to creating and maintaining artifacts that give Murex a competitive edge over other vendors. Their expertise spans multiple domains, including Trading, Investment Management, Back‑Office Operations & Finance, Securities Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, Integration & Architecture, and Professional and Managed Services. Positioned at the crossroads of various functions within Murex—from Product Evolution teams to Business Development and Client Service teams—the presales team offers its members a constant and valuable source of career growth. Operating across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, the Americas Presales team is pivotal in driving Murex’s success across the region.
What you’ll do
You will join a fast‑growing team partnering with Business Development across North America and LATAM to win new logos and accelerate expansion in existing accounts, with LATAM as the primary focus. You will own end‑to‑end presales support for Professional Services (PS) and Managed Services (MS), including leading PS/MS responses for RFIs/RFPs with clear value propositions, delivery assumptions, and engagement models; delivering high‑impact demos and workshops on implementation methodology, support/operating model, SaaS offering, Upgrade as a Service, Continuous Integration Managed Service; governance frameworks such as R&R;/RASCI and HLP topics; building and maintaining scalable presales enablement assets (Spanish service offering decks, MS sizing library, reusable proposal components, implementation case studies, etc.).
You will engage directly with clients and prospects to uncover business objectives, operating constraints, and target architectures—then translate them into PS/MS offers that position Murex as a strategic partner.
Responsibilities
- Pre‑sale to Prospects—shape PS/MS offers that meet client outcomes, maximise revenue, protect Murex interests, and formalise delivery governance across client/SI/Murex.
- Identify, quantify, and communicate delivery risks, assumptions, and commitments—ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders early.
- Build executive‑level trust with client and prospect sponsors to secure and expand Murex engagements.
- Present modern delivery methods and innovation road‑maps to the right stakeholders (new services, operating models, and delivery accelerators).
- Provide Business Development with early‑stage sizing (t‑shirt estimates) for MS and reusable PS implementation use cases.
- Drive a clean presales‑to‑delivery handover: once Murex is selected as the preferred vendor, transfer discovery artefacts to the appointed Instance Life Cycle (ILC) Project Manager and Solution Architect to lead pre‑scoping, run detailed estimates, and produce the final Service Proposal.
- Ensure the domain presales operating model is consistently applied across all contributors.
- Industrialise the PS presales activities.
- Continuously improve delivery methodology, quality management, and service packaging by leveraging lessons learned from past pursuits.
- Maintain and version‑control presales assets based on delivery experience to help Biz‑dev share realistic, data‑backed implementation use cases.
- Provide structured feedback to the AMER Services Presales Manager and the Service Offer/ILC teams on what resonates in LATAM—highlighting gaps, risks, and opportunities to evolve the offer.
- Collaborate with fellow Murexians in the region, partnering with the Services Presales Manager, presales peers, and Biz‑dev to execute RFx responses, demos, and PoCs with consistent messaging and technical depth.
- Collaborate with ILC to transition presales work to the appointed Project Manager, keep materials current with Service Offer updates, and provide field feedback on MS propositions.
- Globally,
work with Services Presales leads across regions to share patterns, reuse assets, and standardise presales workflows where it adds value.
- Engage with Service Offering SBIs and Go‑to‑Market teams to represent presales needs—helping define scalable services, tooling, and enablement.
Who you are
- 5+ years of Murex delivery/project management experience, with strong understanding of implementation lifecycles.
- Broad knowledge of Murex services portfolio (pre‑scoping, implementation, frequent upgrades, CI managed service) and delivery models (on‑premises, SaaS, cloud).
- Proven ability to position and differentiate PS/MS offerings through demos, workshops, and outcome‑driven narratives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills—able to build trusted relationships during technical and executive‑level engagements.
- Creative and solutions‑oriented mindset to design “out‑of‑the‑box” service approaches when needed.
- Willingness to travel regularly (client‑facing role).
- High autonomy and ownership—you identify problems early and bring actionable options.
- Comfort operating in high‑tempo environments with tight deadlines and multiple parallel workstreams.
- Commitment to applying and continuously improving the internal presales process across the full opportunity lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Native Spanish speaker with professional fluency in English.
- Technical background (also welcome; Candidates with a strong technical background are very welcome). Given the technical dimension of our service offerings (SaaS architecture, Continuous Integration, DevOps, etc.), this role can be shaped to split time between Services Presales and Technical Presales, depending on profile and business needs.
Under Technical Presales functions, you will
- Present Murex technical offerings to prospects (integration, reporting, productised interfaces, APIs, Connectivity2.0, architecture, CI, SaaS, cloud, etc.).
- Prepare and deliver technical demos and proofs of concepts (integration framework, Connectivity2.0, APIs, etc.).
- Provide technical answers to RFIs/RFPs, including integration mapping between MX.3 and the customer’s existing systems.
- Present Murex’s Architecture, Integration, and Technology Strategy/Roadmap.
- Proactively propose a roadmap to strengthen technical presales and contribute to internal industrialisation initiatives (documentation, demos, etc.).
- Build selected prototypes when needed.
