The Position
Senior Web Engineer – hybrid position in Santiago, Chile. You will join our team to bring our web app to the same level of user experience as the iOS and Mac versions, and contribute to building an all-star Web team.
Hybrid work: you will be required to come into the office at least two times a week, and can work from home the rest of the week.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Product and Design to define and implement new features and constantly improve existing ones.
Maintain and improve the quality and performance of the web application.
Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience building web app frontends.
3+ years of experience with TypeScript and React.
Knowledge of React frameworks and build tools.
Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with asynchronous request handling.
Attention to design and detail.




Team player who can manage time independently.
Proficiency in English.
Based in Santiago, Chile.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
Knowledge of performance and scalability techniques.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
Experience with Progressive Web Apps, Google Cloud/Firebase/Firestore, Mobile apps, CI/CD systems.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly salary: CLP $3,000,000 - $3,600,000 (net).
Equity in the company (stock options).
Home office setup.
Complementary health insurance (in process).
Remote work allowance: CLP $50,000/month; wellness allowance: CLP $85,000/month.
Coverage of sick days not paid by health insurance (typically first three days).
After two years gain five extra vacation days; five more after four years.
Four administrative days per year
