The successful candidates will join the existing team in providing a Pan- Ayrshire Gastroenterology service. The post-holders can expect to see a wide range of clinical presentations with a broad range of specialist services across NHS Ayrshire and Arran. The Service functions as an integrated team and all members contribute towards the provision of out-patient and in-patient care. The medicine component of the post is designed to eliminate medical boarding and to ensure high quality patient centred care for all inpatients. The Gastroenterology component will involve all aspects of inpatient and outpatient work.
