About the Role

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that transform complex data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with Data Services and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, build scalable data models, and deliver intuitive visualizations that support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Build and optimize data models using Power Query (M) and DAX.
- Connect Power BI to SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, cloud data warehouses, and APIs.
- Develop calculated measures, calculated columns, relationships, and time intelligence functions.
- Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective dashboards and KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.




- Apply dashboard design and UX best practices.
- Manage Power BI Service, including workspaces, permissions, and app publishing.
- Optimize report performance through efficient data models and incremental refresh.
- Document dashboards, data models, and reporting processes.
- Train and support end users.
- Stay up to date with new Power BI features and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with data modeling, including Star Schema, Fact and Dimension tables, and relationships.
- Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Advanced English.

Nice to Have

- Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300).
- Experience with Power BI Service administration, gateways, Row-Level Security (RLS), and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud data platforms.
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
- Knowledge of Python or R.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Git or version control.
