Job Overview

Vervegen SpA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Especialista en Nóminas y Compensaciones to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, administering employee compensation and benefits, and maintaining compliance with Chilean labor laws and company policies. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to support an efficient payroll and compensation function.

Key Responsibilities

- Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Administer employee compensation, benefits, and payroll-related records.
- Ensure compliance with Chilean labor legislation, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and statutory benefits.
- Maintain and update employee payroll information in the HRIS or payroll system.
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits and regulatory inspections.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll reconciliation.
- Support compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and annual salary adjustment processes.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.





QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in payroll administration and compensation.
- Strong knowledge of Chilean labor laws, payroll regulations, taxation, and social security contributions.
- Experience using payroll and HR information systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Preferred
- Experience with payroll software such as Buk, Talana, Rex+, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar HR/payroll platforms.
- Knowledge of compensation analysis and salary benchmarking.
- Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Professional certification in payroll or human resources is an advantage.
