The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Chile and internationally to deploy, monitor, and maintain services, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to ongoing improvements in infrastructure and workflows. This role requires a proactive mindset, a solid technical foundation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to solve moderately complex technical problems, operate independently, contribute to system design discussions, and support production environments.
Occasional after-hours responsibilities may be required, as well as collaboration across multiple time zones.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, deploy, configure, test, and maintain DevOps services
- Support infrastructure deployment and provisioning processes
- Implement and maintain monitoring and reporting tools
- Maintain and improve configuration management solutions
- Contribute to test automation frameworks with the team
- Support performance tuning and availability of infrastructure
- Build and maintain tools to improve developer and operational workflows
- Manage urgent operational issues by leading or collaborating within teams to deploy essential services and resolve critical outages.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Mentoring less experienced engineers
