Solar Base is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost and Budget Analyst to join our team in Antofagasta, Chile. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and monitoring project and operational costs to ensure financial efficiency and support strategic business objectives. This role works closely with finance, operations, and project teams to provide accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and update project and operational budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost variances.
- Analyze direct and indirect costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, budget forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
- Support financial planning and budget control activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational data.
- Maintain accurate cost records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in improving budgeting processes and financial reporting procedures.

QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in cost analysis, budgeting,



financial planning, or management accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, financial formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial software.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
- Experience in the renewable energy, mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
