About The Role In this role, you will work with SoftServe’s Autonomous Agentic Platform, Neo, which represents the next evolution in software engineering: an ecosystem where agents orchestrate agents, workflows adapt dynamically, and guardrails enable reliable autonomy at scale. You will translate ambiguous business and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures, engineering standards, execution models, technical contracts, and delivery-ready implementation approaches.
Responsibilities Shape the technical direction of a production-grade Autonomous Agentic Platform
Define reusable agentic engineering patterns, contracts, interfaces, workflows, and delivery slices for Agentic SDLC execution
Lead implementation strategy across agent workflows, MCP tools, context pipelines, orchestration patterns, and platform services
Partner with architects, product owners, and client stakeholders to turn vision into executable technical systems
Make high-impact technical decisions that balance speed, quality, scalability, reliability, and client delivery needs
Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability, documentation, operational readiness, and agentic workflow governance
Mentor technical leads and engineers by clarifying architecture, resolving design questions, and raising the quality bar
Use metrics, benchmarking, and validation evidence to improve platform reliability, agent performance, and delivery quality
Build practical processes and tooling that help teams execute agentic engineering at scale
Advance Neo’s technical voice through papers, conference talks, client-facing thought leadership, and reusable internal enablement for agentic engineering Requirements 10+ years of experience designing, building, and scaling complex software platforms,
including AI-centric distributed, event-driven, or autonomous systems
Strong hands-on expertise with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, REST/OpenAPI service contracts, MCP integration, cloud-native deployment patterns, CI/CD, observability, and automated testing
Advanced AI/ML engineering experience with LLM-based systems, including agentic workflows, retrieval and indexing strategies, context engineering, evaluation methodologies, and token-budget management
Strong understanding of architecture fundamentals, including microservices, C4 modeling, design patterns, and contract-first engineering, with the skills to apply them to scalable autonomous agentic systems
Experience leading engineers and cross-functional teams through complex technical decisions, implementation tradeoffs, delivery risks, and production-quality outcomes
Strong evidence-driven approach to technical leadership using metrics, benchmarking, validation results, and operational insights to improve system reliability and engineering execution This is a leadership role where you will drive impact in two main directions: Leading People Hire and onboard talent, build trust and inclusion, set clear priorities, coach growth, deliver results, and lead change aligned to our values.
