Who are we looking for?

Working directly with the EcoRegion PMO Leader (Americas, APAC or EMEA) within the Enterprise-wide Project Delivery group, the Regional Project Management Office Lead (RPMOL) is responsible for establishing a strong project management practice across their local region.
This role acts as the voice and leadership for the project management practice (Project Directors and Project Managers) within the local region. It drives industry-best-practice improvements in role clarity, career and competency development, and processes and tools, based on a graded approach to project size and complexity. Through this role, the RPMOL ensures that the Business Groups within the region have the capability to effectively manage the delivery of all project types, achieving successful outcomes for both the client and GHD, in alignment with our long-term strategy.
As this is a practice area role,



accountability will be for the effectiveness of project management across the region, with accountability for project execution and staff management remaining within the Business Groups. To achieve this mandate, the RPMOL will be responsible for the effective implementation of regional PMO governance and oversight/leadership provided to the Business Groups.
This may not be a full-time role, depending on the size and number of Business Groups in the Region, and will likely require 50%+ overhead effort. Therefore, the RPMOL will have project delivery roles, such as a Project Director.
The role is based in Santiago (Chile) with an hybrid work model.
