The Role

To provide a high standard of care to a wide patient group of all ages, ethnic background and clinical condition during radiological imaging procedures which include, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and plain film examination.

To assist radiology staff in producing high quality images in all imaging modalities, ensuring the provision of high quality, patient centred care,



ensuring an effective and efficient flow of patients throughout the department and hospital

In This Key Role, You Will

- To care for every patients’ needs, and to look after his or her welfare.

- Initial basic assessment of patient physical capabilities e.g. patient’s ability to undress.
- Responsible for providing basic information to patients.
- To input patient data on Radiology information system.

- To assist Radiographers, Radiologists and Nurses with patient during radiology examinations.
- Undertake Blood glucose testing as directed.
- Prior to the patients MRI examination appointment check the completion of the patient safety form with the patient via telephone and refer any issues to the radiographer.
