At Zelestra Latam, we are looking for a Senior Investment Manager LATAM to join the regional Finance team, based in Santiago or Bogotá. This position will play a key role in defining the business plan and ensuring its monitoring and execution. To this end, the role’s mission will be to oversee and lead the approval of investment decisions through the Company’s various governance bodies, from the SLT to the Board of Directors, including the execution of PPAs and NTPs, project financing, and M&A; activities. This will involve coordinating multidisciplinary teams and applying experience in managing investment processes from origination through execution. The position works closely with the LATAM CFO and the senior leadership team to ensure that the Business Unit creates value in accordance with the business plan. All of the above must be carried out in compliance with applicable regulations, Compliance standards, and the relevant internal procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Business plan preparation and monitoring
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Development, Finance, Legal, Technical, and Commercial, to prepare business plans and investment cases, ensuring alignment with the business plan and market conditions.
- Ensure the timely preparation of high-quality materials for approval by the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors.
- Oversee the financial models supporting:
- Investment Committee and Board of Directors approvals for new projects.
- Project financing, including debt structuring and negotiations with lenders.
- Co-development and acquisition opportunities.
- Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations.
- Capital allocation decisions for the renewable energy project pipeline.
- Supervise associates in the preparation of financial models for operating plants in the three countries where we operate—Chile, Peru, and Colombia—both to meet reporting requirements for banks and bon
