Equans, a global leader in energy and technical services, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer Level 3 to join our SLS Infrastructure team in Chile. This role focuses on advanced network operations and project activities, specializing in Security Service Edge (SSE) technologies such as Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateway, and Firewall-as-a-Service. Reporting to the Network Team Lead, you will contribute to a globally operating IT infrastructure team supporting around 90,000 users worldwide.
You will play a key role in migrating infrastructure services in-house from external providers, maintaining alignment with global Equans standards. This position involves working versátil shifts within a multi-time zone, global services environment and supports career growth and continuous learning in a dynamic team setting.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Development
Coach and guide Level 2 team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Define objectives and monitor KPIs to ensure accountability for service quality and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Promote open communication, diversity, and inclusion to create a supportive and motivated team environment.
Service Delivery & Compliance
Deliver network infrastructure services in line with ITIL best practices and Equans’ global governance standards.
Ensure compliance with security, monitoring, patching, and operational standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Lead or contribute during major incident escalation and P1 incident processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational documentation (SOP, HDL, LLD).
Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives to reduce support level and enhance service quality.
Collaboration & Customer Engagement
Coordinate with Infrastructure support teams (Level 2-4) to standardize processes, tools, and governance.
