Description
About Xe
Xe is a cross-border payments platform. We help SMEs and consumers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand collect, convert, hold, and send money across markets. Each year, over 300 million people use Xe for currency information and over 350,000 use us to send money overseas.
Today, we're rebuilding the platform layer behind cross-border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We're small enough that your code ships fast and your decisions matter, and Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT) backs us so the problems stay real-scale.
About This Role
We're hiring a mid-level DevOps engineer who likes owning real problems end-to-end, from infrastructure design and pipeline architecture through to incident response and on-call. You already use AI as part of how you think, build, test, and ship.
You'll keep the infrastructure that moves money in production resilient and fast, build the multi-region cloud and CI/CD layers Xe's squads run on, and partner with engineering to ship AI-accelerated developer tooling.
You'll work in a small team with direct access to engineering, architecture, and security, own infrastructure in production, and partner with architects and team leads on cross-domain reliability decisions.
What You'll Do
Own CI/CD pipeline reliability and developer experience across squads, including release gating, delivery automation, and rollback safety.
Build and operate multi-region cloud infrastructure on AWS, including identity (Cognito), networking, and disaster recovery.
Partner with engineering and architecture on AI-accelerated SDLC tooling adoption across the org.
Own production observability and incident response for shared infrastructure, including on-call rotation.
Use agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) daily across the SDLC.
What We're Looking For
Must-have
3 to 6 years building and operating production infrastructure end-to-end.
Strong experience with AWS in production, includi
