Top Requirement — AI-Assisted Development
This is non-negotiable. We expect our developers to work smarter using modern AI tools.
Active, daily use of AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent)
Able to demonstrate how AI tools accelerate your Shopify workflow — theme scaffolding, code review, debugging, and documentation
Uses AI to raise output quality and delivery speed — not as a crutch for gaps in fundamentals
Keeps up with the evolving AI tooling landscape and adopts new tools proactively
