About the Role
As part of BHP’s Strategy & Market Intelligence team within Portfolio Strategy and Development, this role is responsible for shaping BHP’s strategic direction in copper and potash, supporting disciplined capital allocation, maintaining balance sheet strength, strengthening shareholder confidence,
and enhancing BHP’s long-term competitive advantage.
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy and Market Intelligence, or equivalent, the role will lead the development of BHP’s commodity strategies for copper and potash. This includes accountability for Commodity Price Protocol development, commodity and asset strategy formulation, and the delivery of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. The role will provide critical insight and recommendations to inform Executive Leadership Team and Board decision-making.
The role will be based in a BHP office in Santiago, Chile, or another Americas BHP office, subject to business requirements. Domestic and international travel may be required.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the development of long-term supply, demand and price outlooks for copper and potash, including ownership of Commodity Price Protocols
