The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is an MLS soccer club serving the greater Los Angeles area. POSITION SUMMARY

This is an independent contractor position.

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven, and well-connected professional football scout to

oversee talent identification and player evaluation across various territories in South America. This role will be responsible for prospecting in various regions, including but not limited to Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia. As a result,



this person will play a critical role in identifying elite and emerging talent aligned with the club’s playing model, values, long-term recruitment strategy, and methodology.

Thus, the adecuado candidate will have extensive South American regional and cultural knowledge, a vast contact network within the region, strong analytical skills, and prior football scouting experience with professional clubs. This person must also be comfortable navigating through different leagues, various competition environments, and communities.
