Company Description The Council of International Chambers of Commerce (CICC) is a integral platform that enables communication, interaction, and business opportunities for organizations and professionals worldwide. The CICC leverages an international network of corporate leaders, investors, and trade organizations, complemented by direct links to governments and country representatives. Its core goals include economic development, investment promotion, international trade, and support for projects that enhance infrastructure, systems, and connectivity among member countries, with particular attention to underdeveloped markets. Role Description The LATAM Board Member is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for guiding CICC’s strategic direction and activities in Latin America. This role involves identifying and driving regional economic development and investment opportunities, fostering international trade, and building strong relationships with businesses, investors, and government representatives across LATAM. The Board Member will participate in board meetings, contribute to policy and governance decisions, and help design tailored trade missions, conferences, and business rounds that align with the council’s objectives. Day-to-day activities include reviewing and evaluating international project proposals, advising on sector priorities, representing CICC in regional and international forums, and collaborating with other board members to strengthen connectivity between LATAM and other member regions.
