As a Market Access Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that CSL products reach the patients who need them — by securing optimal reimbursement access and building strong, lasting relationships with key external stakeholders across your designated territory.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of health policy, health economics, payer strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Reimbursement Access: Identify and secure optimal access to reimbursement channels for CSL products within a designated territory, working under general direction with significant autonomy.
- Market Intelligence: Develop and maintain working relationships with key external channel customers to monitor current market conditions, healthcare policies, and funding legislation changes.
- Value Proposition Development: Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs,
and Regulatory teams to build compelling value propositions for CSL's therapeutic area portfolio.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and sustain relationships with government bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), patient advocacy groups, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and key wholesalers to generate reimbursement opportunities.
- Tender & Policy Support: Provide strategic support for major tenders and keep management informed on reimbursement changes, healthcare policy developments, and funding legislation updates.
- HTA & Payer Collaboration: Work collectively with payers, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies, and reimbursement decision-makers to ensure fair and sustainable reimbursement systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline
- 5+ years' pharmaceutical industry experience in market access management and reimbursement
