This is a coordination-and-delivery role on a brownfield template: the solution exists, the team is experienced, and the PM's job is disciplined execution of rollouts against the existing template — not greenfield design.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end rollout projects adding new company codes / entities to an existing SAP implementation: planning, workstream coordination, milestone tracking, and status reporting
- Use ALM tooling (SAP Cloud ALM and/or Solution Manager) for project tracking, requirements/test management, and deployment orchestration
- Coordinate the client's experienced SAP functional, technical, and integration resources; manage dependencies across workstreams and with business stakeholders of the entities being onboarded
- Own test cycle planning (SIT/UAT), defect triage cadence, cutover planning, and hypercare coordination for each rollout wave
- Manage RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), escalations, and change control; maintain clear documentation and steering-level reporting
- Align data migration, integration,
and authorization workstreams with rollout timelines
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of IT project management with 3+ years managing SAP projects (implementation, rollout, or migration)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology — able to run its phases, deliverables, and quality gates in practice, not just name them
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP ALM tooling: SAP Cloud ALM and/or Solution Manager (project/task management, test management, deployment tracking)
- Direct experience with rollout projects adding entities/company codes to an existing SAP environment (brownfield template rollouts), including cutover and hypercare
- Experience coordinating experienced SAP teams they did not hire — earning authority through competence rather than org chart
- English proficiency sufficient for daily leadership of meetings, steering reporting, and written deliverables with US-based stakeholders
