The Role

To assist with the planning, organising and controlling of all activities within the catering department and associated areas, in accordance with Trust requirements. 35 hours, various shift pattern , can include weekends.

In This Key Role, You Will
- Ensure that all staff are present for duty wearing the correct uniform and that the uniform is clean and tidy at all times.




- Ensure that enough staff are on duty and to allocate duties within the department.
- Ensure that all cash registers are set and ready for meal service in the staff/ public dining area
- Carry out daily audits and check that temperatures have been taken and recorded as set out in Trust procedures and policy.
- Cover Annual leave
- Control & organisation of shift , supervision of 25 staff
- Cash controll
- Rota planning & staff training
- Delivering meal service to patients 3 times per day
- Public and staff restaurant

What You'll Bring
- Training and or qualifications required: Numerate, literate and practical.
- Manual Handling
- Health and Safety
- COSHH
- Fire Safety
- Human Resources Policy and procedures.
- Absence Management.
- Level of experience required: 1-2 years in a busy Catering environment.
