The Role
The postholder will provide highly specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention as part of the Neuropsychology Service in NHS Lanarkshire.
The post-holder will be based in University Hospital Monklands, with clinics located in North and South Lanarkshire. Working under the Clinical Lead for Neuropsychology,
the post-holder will undertake neuropsychological assessment and intervention with patients with organic and functional neurological disorders, and provide consultation to medical, nursing and rehabilitation staff.
Supervised clinical experience in neuropsychology (e.g. neuropsychology placements during training or post-qualification roles) is essential for the role.
The post-holder will be expected to have specialist knowledge of- and experience working with- organic and functional neurological conditions, such as brain injury, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, non-epileptic seizures etc.
Completion of PG Dip/ MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology is advantageous but not essential.
