One of their branches performs Consultancy and applied Research and Innovation (R&I;) projects on the whole electricity value-chain, including the fields of power generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and end-use, with a focus on energy transition and the 3 Ds: decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization.As part of their consulting and R&I; activities, they're looking for a talented Project Engineer (Electrical)



to support the execution of consulting services and R&I; projects focused on ensuring an efficient energy transition in America that considers a strong penetration of renewables and flexibilization of existing thermal assets.Some responsibilities include:
Technical Support to Diagnose,
Monitor and Assess HVAC/HVDC Transmission Lines Throughout their Lifecycle.
This technical support
will typically include, but is not limited to:Design Stage:
i) Selection
of components e.g. insulators, surge arresters etc.
;
ii) Challenge tower
configurations; and
iii) Monitoring system selection.Procurement Stage:
i) Technical
offer reviews;
ii) Writing of scope of works; Operational Stage:
i) Analyse
faults;
ii) Assess line and tower damage; and
iii) Grid simulations to assess
operating conditions.Develop risk assessment and financial modeling to elaborate business cases for BESS solutions when required.
