AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS general infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers and every piece of equipment—from servers and storage to networking, power, and cooling. Our team includes software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and others. We collaborate across AWS to provide safety, security, and capacity at the lowest possible cost.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate with experienced Amazon Data Technicians, following them during hardware and network troubleshooting. You will support our workforce by resolving tickets related to HW (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc.) and networking (Link Down, Optics Replacements, Switch Replacements).

- Hardware troubleshoot in servers which are not live under AWS Data Tech supervision.




- Understand the importance of meeting SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets.
- Follow the AWS Data Techs during network troubleshooting.
- Replace media (SSD/HDD) according to AWS Data Tech guidance.
- Perform regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards, etc.) under expert guidance.
- Interact with third‑party vendors and contractors working on site.

Qualifications

- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Age 18 or older.
- Work 40 hours per week, including overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
